Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Class A CDL Driver with proven experience operating flatbed tractor trailers and roll-off trucks. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting materials safely and efficiently while maintaining compliance with all DOT regulations and company policies.
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Class A CDL Driver with proven experience operating flatbed tractor trailers and roll-off trucks. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting materials safely and efficiently while maintaining compliance with all DOT regulations and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate Class A tractor-trailer (flatbed) to transport waste containers to and from job sites and customer locations.
- Safely operate roll-off trucks for delivery and removal of containers.
- Secure loads properly using chains, straps, binders, and tarps in accordance with DOT regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicle and equipment.
- Maintain accurate logs, delivery paperwork, and inspection reports.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local transportation laws.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members.
- Maintain clean and well-maintained equipment.
Qualifications:
- Valid Class A CDL (required)
- Minimum 2+ years of flatbed tractor-trailer experience.
- Roll-off truck experience a PLUS.
- Clean driving record and current DOT medical card.
- Knowledge of load securement regulations and safety standards.
- Ability to operate manual and automatic transmissions.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs.
- Ability to climb, bend, and secure loads safely.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
